Accelerated Learning Associates may collect customer information on-line for marketing and promotional use as a way of improving our services to customers. This data may include customer information gathered through processing sales transactions and your response to any customer surveys. We respect your privacy and have instituted policies intended to ensure your personal information is handled in a safe and responsible manner.
Accelerated Learning Associates does not give out nor sell email addresses to anyone. Information about our customers is an important part of our business, and we are not in the business of selling it to others. We share customer information only with the subsidiaries we control and as described below.
We work closely with our affiliated businesses, including computer software product suppliers. You can tell when another business is involved in your transactions, and we share customer information related to those transactions with that business.
We employ other companies and individuals to perform functions on our behalf. Examples may include fulfilling orders, delivering packages, sending postal mail and e-mail, analysing data, providing marketing assistance, and providing customer service. They have access to personal information needed to perform their functions, but may not use it for other purposes.
We release account and other personal information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with law; enforce or apply our Conditions of Use and other agreements; or protect the rights, property, or safety of Accelerated Learning Associates, our users, or others. This includes exchanging information with other companies and organisations for fraud protection and credit risk reduction.
Shipping and Returns
Purchases made using the PayPal system provided on this website will be shipped only to New Zealand addresses. Any purchasers who are located outside New Zealand and wish their purchases to be shipped to an address outside New Zealand must contact us by email to arrange the transaction.
We are required to automatically charge and withhold the applicable GST for orders to be delivered to addresses within New Zealand. Each customer shall be solely responsible for all sales taxes, or other taxes, on orders shipped to any other country.
Permission to Return and to Receive Credit
We will accept return of merchandise ONLY IF IN SALEABLE CONDITION and notification is within 15 days of receipt. We will Issue Credit to your account in NZ dollars. For unwanted merchandise the cost of return shipping shall be the responsibility of the customer. CDs, DVDs and computer software can only be returned if faulty, and then only for replacement.
Damaged or Incorrect Merchandise
We will, upon your request, replace any merchandise that is received in damaged condition or as a result of a packing error. No material will be accepted or replacements issued without prior approval to return such merchandise. Filing of claims will be our responsibility.
